MANUAL

(0) Make a new directory named /Mapl (if it does not exist) under the root directry.

(1) Click a Mapl98all.exe or Mapl98all.zip at the top of the curerent homepage.
The file will be downloaded into a directory of your hard disk and is named as a holder
Package.
(2) Right-click the file Mapl98all.exe downloaded, or unzip the file
Mapl98all.zip.
Then three files Mapl98.exe,
Setup.exe and setup.lst, and a Support hlder appear.

(4) Click Setup.exe, then installation of Map98.exe starts. Follow the instructions. But, install the Mapl98.exe into the holder /Mapl under the root directory after clicking the button "Change Directory".
6)When installation finished, Mapl98.exe and Grid32.OCX, St6uns.log appear in the directory /Mapl.

7)Transfer two holders /manual and /mapldata into the holder /Mapl.
Now confirm that at least Mapl98.exe,
Grid32.OCX, St6uns.log, and /manual, /mapldata are included in the holder /Mapl. All of these are required for running mapl98 successfully.

8) Click a file Mapl98.exe and then Mapl98 starts and the Menu window appears.

9)You can test Mapl by using a test data file named tes which are included already in the holder /mapldata.

10) You can read a corresponding manual by clicking the Help button on the top bar of each screen.
The manuals are written in richtext and readable on Microsoft Word98.


Remark

1) When you publish a paper including results which were obtained by utilizing Mapl, then please put a short sentence in your paper telling that "Mapl98 was used." .

2) Note:The developer (Yasuo UKAI) is not responsible for any effect you will have by using this software Mapl98.

4) You may feel the manuals attached to the program too short and simple. The developer continues to revise it. If you still find any difficulty in understanding how to use Mapl98 after reading the manual carefully and trying test data, please do not hesitate to ask the developer (Yasuo Ukai) .
